New feature: view your medical treatments directly in Compassana
Get an overview with just a few clicks: users can now view all of their billed health care services in a transparent and comprehensible way at any time directly in the Compassana app.
As of now, people insured with Helsana, SWICA and Groupe Mutuel who log in to Compassana using a single sign-on (SSO) can obtain an even better overview of their personal health care: Compassana can now display all billed medical treatments directly in the app.
What does that mean in practice?
By “treatments” we mean all medical services that have been billed via your health insurance – for example visits to the doctor, laboratory tests, stays in hospital or diagnostic imaging procedures such as an MRI.
As soon as one of these services has been processed by your health insurance company, it will automatically appear in your Compassana profile – in a clear, chronological and comprehensible format. However, it may take a few weeks depending on the insurance company.
And even if you are not insured with Helsana, SWICA or Groupe Mutuel, you can still obtain more information in the Compassana app: users can access copies of their medical bills as PDF files. If you have also entered your telephone number, you will also receive the bills as structured data on the app. The relevant treatment is then recorded in your Compassana timeline automatically. The advantage for users and service providers alike is that they can view this information quickly and easily.
But remember: the original bill will continue to be sent in the usual manner.
This new feature will be introduced gradually for all users.
