The short answer is: you retain control over your data at all times.

The long answer is: this is how Compassana protects your data:

  • You decide what is stored on the app: you determine what documents, contacts or medical information you wish to store in the app – it is completely up to you and you can delete any of them at any time.
  • No information is disclosed without your consent: your data will be shared with doctors, pharmacies or therapists only after you give your explicit consent.
  • Data protection of the highest standard: Compassana complies with the stringent requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and the EU GDPR.
  • Data is stored securely: all information is encrypted and stored on servers in Switzerland. This means your data is protected in the best way possible.
  • Complete transparency for your benefit: you can see who has access to your data whenever you need to – and everything is organised clearly in your app.

What are the benefits of sharing your medical data via the Compassana app?
Storing your current test results and medications in the app and sharing them with your health care professionals helps to ensure that your medical care is as efficient and coordinated as possible. This means you are prepared for any situation – whether it’s your next telemedicine consultation or if you change doctors.
