To ensure that your health information is securely protected, the Compassana app requires a data protection-compliant registration process. However, to make it quick and easy for you to organise your data, we have divided up this process in a sensible and time-saving way.
You can register in just two minutes. In addition to authentication by email or authenticator app, you can also use SMS as a second factor. For those insured with SWICA, Groupe Mutuel and Helsana, the single sign-on (SSO) process is also straightforward. After this so-called 2-factor authentication, your data is securely protected and you can start using Compassana: 

• Start by searching for and saving the people in your treatment team. The map search allows you to find medical help quickly and easily, even in places you don't know.  
• You can now also save your most important reports, lab results and MRI links in the app. This means you have everything to hand in an emergency or when visiting a specialist. You can also keep a list of your medication, which is extremely relevant for the quality of your treatment, especially with new specialists (also in an emergency or on holiday).   
• All activities are displayed in the timeline. This gives you an overview of everything that has already happened.  
• If you have registered with the insurance SSO, your basic insurance model will also be displayed automatically. Your first points of contact that you need to contact based on your model will also be easily accessible to you.

Especially when health data is shared with professionals, it must be clear who is releasing the data. This is the reason why not all functions can be used with the first registration.
