Thanks to collaboration within the Compassana ecosystem, our partner insurers have developed additional functionalities tailored to their customers. Patients can benefit from these additional features as soon as they register with Compassana using their insurance login.

Insurance guide
All Helsana, Groupe Mutuel and SWICA policyholders can activate the insurance guide. The guide is integrated into the app and, where helpful, provides information on their insurance model: 

• Who should I turn to if I have a medical problem? The insurance guide automatically tells you who to contact first and helps you to bear in mind the terms and conditions of your insurance plan. 
• Which basic insurance plan did I choose? You will find an overview of your current plan and can quickly and easily contact your insurer via the app.  

Claimed medications
You can have all the medications that have been claimed through your insurance displayed. This happens automatically when you register with your insurance login. This information about the medications you are taking is very helpful for health care professionals to provide you with safe and high-quality treatment. Information about your medication is also important in the event of an emergency or whenever you are speaking to a specialist for the first time. Ultimately, the objective is to track which antibiotics triggered an allergic reaction or which skin cream was the only effective solution to a medical problem in the past. The data is extremely useful, especially when shared with your doctors and pharmacists.

Symptom check 
The symptom check function in the Compassana app helps patients to make decisions and initiate initial measures. Medical treatments at a glance  
You will soon be able to view your medical treatments in chronological order on your personal timeline and see which examinations you have had.

To sum up, we cannot repeat it often enough: every time information is shared with a patient’s existing healthcare team, outcomes and safety are improved and avoidable costs are reduced. And thanks the insurance login, patients don’t have to do anything to benefit from this added convenience, which is integrated automatically.
